A Force for Change

THE BRIEF: The National Academy of Sciences, a private non-profit that advises the U.S. government on science, technology, and engineering, sought to showcase its Gulf Scholars Program. The undergraduate initiative prepares students across the Gulf Coast to address critical regional challenges in community health, environmental stewardship, and energy safety. They needed a film to inspire students to enroll and encourage stakeholders to support the program.

THE TREATMENT: Blink Studios produced a multi-chapter Documation capturing the growth and impact of the Gulf Scholars Program. Through careful research and in-depth interviews with students, faculty, and program executives, we shaped their voices into a compelling narrative with a strong overall arc that offers meaningful insight into the program's journey. A striking animated sequence in a fresh collage and cut-out style then brings key statistics to life, creating a vibrant, memorable film that inspires enrollment and appeals to potential supporters.
